They are all trophys when taken with a bow. No but anything or by someone elses standards, you should be proud of your accomplishment. Congratulations on a nice buck!

Thanks everyone...I was (am) pretty proud of it. We actually have it hanging in a tree in my parents backyard trying to clean it so we can Euro mount it! Whew...talk about nasty!
Now that I think about it....That was actually my second kill with a bow (first was a doe), but my 9 year old son shot his first deer that same day...so it was quite a memorable day for me!

that's cool! What kind of poundage is he shooting? My 11 yr. old wants to hunt but he isnt that physically strong (scrawny kid! LOL!) and I am worried about whether or not he has enough power to kill an animal. He is pretty accurate though.

I would be more than happy with that Trophy!
I had a little forked antler buck standing about 20 yrds from me. I was in plain view and it just stood there looking at me. I could have easily shot it, but the guys I was hunting with that year talked so much of BIG antlers that I just stood up to see what it would take to spook him. I still kick myself for not taking the shot, it would have been my first bow kill.

He used a rifle for his kill...He can't pull 40lbs yet, but he is looking forward to hunting with his bow! Here is a better pic of Pink's deer...30 yards and double lunged him (I can show you all thos pics if you would like!)
As for my bucks last year....ummmmmmmm I can't seem to find that pic

Nice Job Pink!! Bowhunting is about fun, and as long as you are having it, then that's all that matters.

Actually that turd ran about 150 yards into the woods! She said she put it right where she was aiming, but I was starting to doubt her until we found him.

Nice pics............keep em coming.
Unfortunately since I have been into bowhunting I am going on 7 of the last 9 deer seasons out of the US.
Hopefully in the future, I will have more than an Iraqi camel and goat under my belt for bow kills.

All right here's a few pic's of my biggest deer, I harvested him last season. He has picked up the nickname "Twiggs County Monster", I harvested him on Dec. 3, 2006 in Twiggs County Georgia. He weighed a wapping 255lbs @
4 1/2yo with a offical score of 143-7/8" net. When all the paper work is finished he will be #11 in Twiggs County's all time record book.
I am posting a few pic's of him when I shot him, and his mount. I knew he was there just had to find him. I acctually seen him opening morning of muzzle loader season. He graced my presents again and life as he knew it was offer.
What you guys & gals think about him?
