Week 1: Vegas Sit Down League

Fifteen shooters were brave enough to PM their scores......

We will go one end at at time and eliminate the lowest score. Ties will be broken by scoring the next ends until someone is gone.

At the end of 10 ends, I will roll a die. The number that shows up will be the end I start eliminating on again the second time through.

There were some personal bests and some personal worsts, but at least we were shooting. Let the smack talking begin...................

To clarify. Misty B left her per end scores at the club and only had her total and her X count. She will not be scored during the sit down.

Mrs. Pilot has some free time on her hands for the next couple of weeks and I has a feeling that she was gonna practice, practice, practice so that she could whoop up on me next time........so i left her bow in ma truck....

If your score is in red, then you can head on over to the OAK and start warming the bench for the rest of us.

End two finds us in a shoot-off.......one that takes 2 ends to decide. Bohuntnhoosier must have been distracted by all the bling on Chelleo's bow cause he sent a flyer in the second shootoff.

Way to fight it out Bohuntn, now go find Chris and tell him how much you want your wraps.......

End 3. Is the end for pilot. The mrs.' evil eye from the OAK must have wore him down. Now you can join your unit on the OAK and give her some pointers on how to reach round 3.......

End # 4 finds our very own QSA heading to the OAK. I guess GREEN really is an unlucky color. Show us what BLUE can do for YOU next week...

End five and vawildfire has launced a flyer..... Don't worry my friend....we all launch one every now and then....as a matter of fact....I predict I will be launching on in the next round.....

End 6 and yours truly has hit the red.....OVATION SMOVATION.....where is that new string I ordered??? Maybe next week I will get a point.....make room on the OAK......I'm not a spectator.....

End 7 finds chelleo and Hook em in a shoot off. Fortunately for Hook em, chelleo is already wore out from her epic battle with bowhuntnhoosier. Come on over to the OAK chelleo, we got it all warmed up for ya.....

Round 8 took a 31 or better to advance to the next..... "SIN" ERGY my friend....it truly stinks to be sat with a 30. Oh well........to the OAK......it's gettin crowded over here.....

End 9. Hook em finds that a 29 just doesn't cut it this far in the game. Don't look for any sympathy from us though......we know who will be comforting you later on........

We made it through 10 ends with four shooters left. I have rolled the die of woe an the number FOUR is staring at me. We will begin the next round on end FOUR.


Bowman must be wore out from the R-100......or maybe he has a sunburn on the top of his melon from that visor he wore all weekend. Either way.....4th aint too shabby.

Thanks to all that participated this week. I hope everyone has an understanding of how the sit down works now. The best score doesn't always win and a bad round surrounded by perfection can sit you on the oak.......

15 shooters was a great start. Get the word out and let's see where we can take this.....
