Wind Indicators
Just curious if anyone had any preference on the different wind indicators out there that can be used on stand. I have only seen a few different types the puff powder, the feather on a gator clip, and the floaters. I was thinking about the hands free feather on the gator clip due to it can be observed constantly without any hand or body movement. Any other opinions on these products?
Thanks,

Thread works, i use dental floss it is light enough for the wind to move it and it wont break off going through brush!

I normally just look at the cigarette in my hand to see which way the wind is blowing.

Yep, dental floss works great... It works even better if you can find a bird feather on the ground and tie it to the end. The longer the piece of floss the better.

I just spray some scent free spray and see which direction it goes... then I stand so the wind blows it on me and ignore the wind for the rest of the day and respray myself every 2 hours or so
