Default Back-up bow???

Do you guys have back-up bows??? I think I'm experienced enough to be able to buy a bow from a shop, spend a few hours setting it up, and sighting in, and go hunt with it. I do have a back up bow, but I'm thinking of reducing my inventory.

I have a back up hunting bow...But I may ditch that to help setup a dedicated 3d rig...and I always have a few Freakcurves ready to go...

For hunting, My back up bow is a take-down recurve, Just in case i blow my cables or string in the field im not gonna quit hunting!

I do for sure, my vectrix xl is my back up for my trykon. Its not a real big deal for deer hunting, but when im 5 hours away from home for 10+ days i always take the backup. Seen guys break stuff a few times and have to pack up.

The wife and I were in the archery shop the other day getting some new vanes. I picked up a new guardian to take a closer look, my wife looked at me and said NO.

I have always used my 3D rig as my back-up, but since this year I am shooting the Ultra-Elite for 3D... it may be difficult to use it as a back-up this year.

I was planning to get a back-up, but by the looks of things, i should be lucky if I get to hunt at all this year!

Reducing inventory huh. Let's see, 2 weeks ago selling, 2 days ago buying.

The good thing about chrome is the reflection from the woods. Now that would be REAL tree camo.

I am feeling bad that I do not have a dedicatyed 3D bow anymore. We'll see what 08 brings. Maybe Ben will decide he does not need the chrome BT he just bought.

Well since my Guardian is temp. out of business I can either use my Martin couger or the PSE Bruin. At least I don't have to stop shooting. And I have seen a few travel great distances, be out there a very short time and something happened that they had to pack up and leave. Mainly they would catch there bow strings on sharp bushes and not have any backup. But I did see a person drop one from his tree stand and it snapped. He lived about 5 hours away. But he said he couldn't get it fixed until after the weekend. Ruined his trip. So I would always suggest a back up.
