My dad taught me how to cook along time ago.
He was a Baker all his life in WWII on a ship in the Navy
He worked for A&P Bakery for 40 years and was the greatest Chef in the world to me.
He loved hunting and Killed plenty deer and turkeys in his lifetime and taught his self how to make wild game taste good.
One of his best was Roasted Wild Turkey!
Here it is:
1 wild turkey any size.
1 large Onion
1 jar mayonase
1 large brown Grocery bag
2 boxes stove top stuffin zesty herb
Take the turkey and stuff the onion inside it.
Salt and pepper the turkey real good, more pepper than salt.
You can use Celery salt too For a better taste.
take the mayonase and cover the whole bird real thick like iceing on a cake.
Put the bird in the paper bag and place in preheated oven @ 325 no hotter
For around 2 to 3 hours use a meat thermomiter is best.
The last 30 min. take the bird out the bag and add the stuffin,place back in for the last 30min.
