Huge Buck :( Lost em...
Last night about an hour before dark a big 10 pointer came up behind my stand and i shot at an odd angle and hit the deer in the lower ribs towards the hind end and he couldnt move so i put another one in him at an even worse angle and hit him in the neck...we tracked him last night till 12 and today for a while and found massive blood but couldnt find the buck i am extremely dissapointed....

I've had them backtrack on me and I've walked right by them following the blood trail...

Do you mean quartering to?
If you were on his trail for 3 - 4 hours....you probably unknowingly jumped then pushed him several times.
A buck can travel for MILES at that rate.
If the hit was MORTAL....he should have died from loss of blood within 400 yards...
Next time....
When in DOUBT..........back out
We all have done it at least once......
A smart man learns from his mistakes...
A Genius learns from others...
Get back out there....
