while I was cleaning my house today...I looked out the back door and saw a coyote just standing in my yard. He was probably about 50 yards away.

My first thought was "get my bow" but I didn't have any broadheads and by the time I got it, he would be gone.

Then I thought "get the .22", but then I would be shooting towards the road with a gun and what if he ran into someones yard and died. (I live on 4 acres in the country)

So then I decided, "get the kids, so they can see what a coyote is". So, by the time they got to the window, it was just starting to walk away.

If you come clean my house I'll round up some type of wild animal to run through the yard for you to look at. Would a possum do?........

She just needs a bigger rifle; that way it won't run into the neighbors yard. She doesn't need much distance - I'm thinking a 45-70.

My Unit went out with some freands for the first time in a long time Saturday night. Needless to say she got out of bed at 4:30 Sunday afternoon .

Shoot well Wabash goers! I'll be think'n of you and hoping all do well. I'm going to be other wise detained on a work trip, so I will be out of contact for the next month or so, but I will be sending my wishes for good shooting to all the travelers.
