I have finally made that magical number 1000 posts with this one !

First off I want to thank everyone who put up with me on this quest , for their time and responces leading to this achievement in the life of an internet junkie !

I've enjoyed being here and getting to this milestone on this site , as I've only done it on two other sites before .

I may do a few more posts yet , but fade back to being more the unknown around here mode .

Thanks again to those who help make it possible !

PS. A decoder ring will be fine , but already told my friends at my favorite wateringhole that I was getting a " Navy Seal Team Six translater " !

Few free drinks and they'll never know the difference !

The seal team 6 translater comes with powder burns on your forehead. Not sure you want that one.

No problem , that's an easy fix , as I got some of that camo face paint stuff and after a few drinks my wateringhole friends believe about anything !

That Navy seals Team 6 translater was important to my pride there , but heck after a few beers , who cares !

Was out doing my thing , shooting them underwater critters and I was in full carp shooting gear with my waders on ( cause some buddy never got that boat , remember ) and was making my second passed herding them critters to hopefully their demise , when they must of put a log to trip yours trully and under the depths , about 3 &1/2 feet of water where I fell !

I was submerge but got up and survived this trick them carp did to me !

The water taste terrible as them carp aren't house broken , but I sucked it up and continue , but that was the last pass as all my clothes and my famed carp hat got wet !

Well I just got back from a nice ride. Talk about great weather. I just hope it does not get a lot hotter or even riding will be miserable. No way I can shoot my bow in this weather though.

M y faithfull mid 90s Martin Firecat went under the waves with yours trully ans still kept on working as I did shoot some more of them underwatwer critters (the ones that were

) after the attempted drowning episode !

Buy a Martin , cause my Hoyts are just too good to take bowfishing !

I don't know about riding, my better half still thinks I'll kill myself, but I shot a round for my field league last night and it was plenty hot in the woods with no breeze. The skeeters about carried us away down by the swamp. I think it was just under 90 when we were shooting, but I shot my best round ever.

Looks like it going to get hottter still.

Same here as it hit 100 just yesterday

, we don't seem to have any skeeters , but I always spray for wood ( deer ) ticks as they are everywhere , but underwater !
