With the riase of CWD they have outlawed all feeding of Deer saying that the consentration of the animal droppings and urine is what they belive to be passing on the mutated protien. The area is a cattle opertaion and can have salt blocks legally but I don't see how all of the salt can be reomved before a hunt Like I said I don't care and I hope he gets one of those nice Bucks I was just saying what I have read in the Game Laws. Hunting Deer with Dogs, Horses, Vehicles,
Boats and Aircraft
It is unlawful to use a dog, horse, automobile,
aircraft, boat or other vehicle to take deer
with a firearm or bow and arrow. However,
dogs may be used to track wounded deer, so
long as the following conditions are met. Any
person using a dog for tracking wounded deer
must maintain physical control of the dog at all
times by means of a maximum 50 foot lead
attached to the dog’s collar or harness.
Tracking wounded deer is permissible at
night, but at no time outside of legal deer
hunting hours or seasons shall any person
handling or accompanying a dog being used
for tracking wounded deer be in possession of
any firearm or archery device. Persons tracking
wounded deer with a dog during the
firearm seasons shall wear blaze orange as
required. Dog handlers tracking wounded
deer with a dog are exempt from hunting
license and deer permit requirements so long
as they are accompanied by the licensed deer
hunter who wounded the deer. It is unlawful to
track deer with dogs on any Department
owned or managed site during hours when
deer hunting is open on the site. Other restrictions
apply.

Hunting Deer Over Salt or Bait
It is unlawful to take deer by using salt or
other kind of bait. NOTE: An area is considered
as baited during the presence of and for 10
consecutive days following the removal of
bait. NOTE: It is unlawful to feed deer at any
time, even when not hunting (see page 8).
Deer Bag Limit
It is unlawful to kill more than one deer per
permit during the bow season or more than
one deer per permit during the gun seasons.
