Finally got out today for my 1st outdoor 3D shoot. It was a bit chilly today and half way through it started snowing. Toward the end it was getting so cold that I started punching the release. But it was worth it...

Yea... you can't tell from the picture, but theres about a dozen shafts in the tree. And if you go to the guys property behind there, there's an endless supply of shafts. We go back there every so often to collect missed shots.

There's 20ish??? acres of undeveloped land behind the club and the person that owns it is one of the founding members of our club.

    Thanks for the pics

    What did you score?

I passed up on a 3D shoot today, this morning it was 18 degrees and windy so I sat it out on the couch instead

Score? Oooo --- I only shot 260, I already came up with a list of excuses:

    1. This was the second shoot of the day (Before this I shot 32 targets indoor)
    2. Bow wasn't sighted in pas 20 yards
    3. Shoulder was hurting
    4. It was cold
    5. Spoiled good shooting skills shooting indoors

List can go on and on....I was talking smack for the last 2 days with my buddy and had to eat my words. I deserve what I got, cold fingers and a crappy score.

Having a Big mouth and being a Smart one didn't help.

I believe we already have a thread listing different excuses. Is that illegal to do it again. We tried to make it much easier, you could just say missed because of excuses #35, 41, 25, 98, and 78. makes it much easier, and a lot less typing.
