I was hunting for Mule deer,
We saw four of them but when three went over a hill 200 yards away, we tried to sneak up to them to get a shot. but another doe came out of the treeline and spooked. took the other three with her.

So we took a bunch of pictures. (the bow, camo, hat and pants, and the boots are mine) I dragged her out of bed at 5:30 made breakfast then booked it to the feild to get settled in.

That was her first time hunting.

Is hunter orange required in your state for early archery?? Or was it just a matter of safety you felt she needed?? By the way she looks great in the camo.:peace:

    No orange is not required.
    And alberta is a province!

I just made her wear some orange so I could find her a bit easier, not that she left my side the whole time for fear of being attacked by the wildlife LMAO
In manatoba we have to have some like 70% orange? I think anyway.. or solid white jumpers

Well, deary you don't have where you're from in your profile and I don't think he caught the Manitoba reference. You gotta be pretty obvious with this group hehehe....

Yeah, I was laughing at her cause her camo was six times bigger than it should be so she was walking like a child bundled up for a -40C day

I think I saw in another thread that this guy is like 16 years old. His immaturity seems to show in some of his threads and posts,

ie: he is hunting with a new female hunter and doesn't even know the orange requirements for where he is at. He says he thnks it is like 70% orange, then changes and says it is so he could find her.
Another post he says he took up chewing tobacco so he could be a better shooter.

Dude, if you are going to be an outdoorsman you need to be a little more responsible than some of your statements because otherwise we as a community of outdoor enthusiasts probably don't want you.
