anyone got plans of their version, or of one off of the net for a good bow press? kinda would like to try and make one (so I can show my wife the pile of rubble in the garage and convince her that I need to buy one:biggrin1: ) nah I guess anything beats the hell out of a ratchet strap

Do not laugh but I fixed a 70 pound bow that way. Limb popped out of it's pocket one time. 2 guys pushed down on it and I removed the string. Put the limb back into the pocket, them they pushed down on it and I installed the string. lol

Cougar Jim X-Press....free plans on the website.

I've been too lazy to build one though so I just use a buddy's or I use my bowmaster portable press.
