checking for fletching clearance

  1. I am fixing to fletch some arrows with blazzers vanes, but i was wandering if anyone had a good idea about how to check to make sure i was getting enough clearance first....I am shooting a dropzone rest, can i shoot **** down? that way i can make sure it clears the cables..... Thanks

I tried a blazer out here while back and had a little trouble with cable clearence...stayed with the 4" duravanes.I clould have turned my uni-nocks but was still a tad leary of the shaft rotating enough to hit the cable once the arrow left the string.Maybe you know some one that shoots blazers with a shaft dia of yours and you can nock an arrow than raise your rest with your fingers and look down the shaft to see if they'll hit anything....Cables/launcher arm..
