Easton broadhead adapters

    are these adapters a must for someone shooting the new nano axis arrows. I'm curious a bowhunter really needs them for broadhead accuracy.

    No not necessarily.
    You want to be sure that when you screw your broadhead into the shaft that the end of the shaft and it's fibers are completely covered by the broadhead furrule. I use regular Axis arrows with NAP Spitfire heads and the end of teh shaft it completely protected by the head. I'll try and find and post a pic so you can see what I mean.

    You only need an adapter if your shooting an expandable broadhead that would come over and hit the shaft. Most of the new expandables do not operate like this. The blade stops on the ferrule(sp?). Some of the old ones would what the shaft and crack it upon opening.
