One rattle snake 3 to 6 feet long cut off about 4 inchs behind the head and skind. Cut into nuggets 2 to 3 inchs long. Let soak in butter milk for 48 hours in frige.
    beat 2 eggs.
bowl of corn meal for coating, mix in
    2 table spoons of salt
1 tea spoon of blk pepper
    1/2 tea spoon garlic powder

Remove nuggets from frige dip in eggs, then place in corn meal.
Remove from cm and deep fry 350 deg. until golden brown.
    serve hot with cold beer.

My 11 yr old son HAD to have rattlesnake for his birthday dinner! Yes, he watches too much 'Man vs. Wild'.....anyway, I reluctantly gave in and fried the snake. It was DELICIOUS! I battered it in flour/egg/flour seasoned with steak seasoning and fried it in olive oil. Yummy!
