Hubby and I were at the outdoor range at Golden Gate Park Sunday and besides eating the most scrumptious marzipan scones in the universe I got to actually make a string for a recurve bow. This fella that sets up every Sunday and basically has anyone who wants to shoot the ole recurves. Shops donate bows and stuff to him and he stays there from morn till evening and helps folks out that want to learn. I went over to actually shoot a bit but he was gonna make a string and got me involved doing that instead I helped with all of it even doing the servings which was pretty easy. I always wondered how that worked. I still havn't figured out how you do 2 colors though. Maybe someone will enlighten me on that one, but it was fun for sure. Always something new to learn in this hobby.
