I have a Hoyt Ultra Mag. I had limbsaver mini extremes installed on the limb bolts last year. This spring I noticed my limb bolts had creeped in when I installed a new rest. After adjusting the tiller and re-tuning, a few days later I checked the limb bolts and they were almost bottomed out again. My Hoyt dealer said the mini extremes transfer some of the vibration to the limb bolts. He doesn't recomend lock tight for alloy risers. He uses flethcing cement instead, so we tried it on the limb bolts. The problem is still there. It only takes 50 shots or so for the bolts to creep back in. I'm going to remove the outer dampening parts tonight and see if the problem persists. If the Hoyt guy is correct it should stop the creep. I hate to abandon the dampeners. Is lock tight really such a bad idea? Any experience and suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks, Jeff.
