er, that is. New to the forum and competive target shooting. I'm a traditional archer/bowhunter and I'm looking to get into Trad 3D & FITA shooting. I currently own a couple of wood/glass recurves. I want to purchase a metal riser (25") to pair with 68" limbs. Although I currently hunt with a 65# Kings Pawn, I want to start out with limbs of around half that weight. Can anyone suggest a good riser that will grow with me that will not cost an arm and a leg. Looks are not an issue. I just need a solid performing versital riser that works with ILF limbs. Thanks!

Would I be better off going withone of those than trying to find a used Zone or Gold Medalist?

Bama, I don't know enough about ILF recurves to advise you which way to go. I've heard of the hoyt of course, but never had one. I've only been messing around with them about a year. Sending you a PM.
