Just want to add a prayer for all those in the Military now and their families. It is a copy I have in my "office" at home and I feel as if it puts a little something on our shoulders.

Maybe some of us are proud to have given back to this Country for all of the freedoms that it has given us. The "Stars and Stripes" mean an awful lot to a lot of us. But then maybe I should have dressed up in my great grandpappy's clothes today instead of going to the church's services at the National Cemetery (Jefferson Barracks) here in St. Louis. And yes, if I had been born then, I would have fought for "Old Glory" on the side of the "Union".
    "no offence my friend":usa:

At Jefferson Barracks, Veterans of all Wars are buried together and there is no distinction in the prayers that state to whom they are for. And that is the way it should be. I'm just proud to have been given the chance to have known and served with some of the finest men this Country has to offer. And that includes Cpl. Larry Smedley. A Medal of Honor recipient. I'm damn proud of our Flag and them.
