sandwich bags & inserts

    Does anyone else use plastic sandwich bag to hold there carbon arrow inserts instead of glue I have been doing it for years

    I was watching a hunting show a couple year ago and the one hunter said he did so I try it and been doing it every scents

    We’ve done this quite a bit with our nocks and uni bushings and that works pretty decent but I never tried it on the point end

    I'm guessing the reason for doing this is so you can remove them and re-cut the arrow if you wanted to, so how hard are they to get out?

    just heat up the tip turn and pull you can do the same with the glued inserts

    Interesting. You ever have any broadheads and inserts come out of the arrow into the target when pulling them out?

    Nothing in a target but if you shot them in a 3d target in the leg they sometimes pull out just as a glued insert would
