Are there any cable slides out there that would be better then a factory hoyt cable slide, and what would the advantages be. and don't tell a mathews roller guard.

I didn't want to hack bagels thread about cable slides so I started a seperate one.

I tried that one. I didn't like it. The whole water isn't an issue thing didn't seem to hold, well, water. It mad a weird noise that I couldn't get rid of. I tried everything. Alpine has one I wouldn't mind trying. besides the roller guard wasn't m... ma.... you know their idea...

If you're not getting wear on your cables, I wouldn't worry about it....:noidea:

Yeah, I had a little wear on my factory strings, and I was just wondering if there was something out there that was better for some reason.

    Saunders/SIMS

I really like teflon slides, seem to wear less than the others and are a bit slicker. The SIMS teflon is a good one, but if you want the Caddy of cable slides pick up the Saunders Hyper-Glide slide...Slickest one I've ever used, roller slide + teflon and it gives you a tad more cable clearence if you shoot high profile fletching like Blazers or FOB's.
