Hers one for us fellars and I don't aggree with all Mr Bush does and I want him out basicly over National secutity and the Real ID act
Taxes under Clinton 1999 Taxes under Bush 2008

    Single making 30K - tax $8,400 Single making 30K - tax $4,500

    Single making 50K - tax $14,000 Single making 50K - tax $12,500

    Single making 75K - tax $23,250 Single making 75K - tax $18,750

    Married making 60K - tax $16,800 Married making 60K- tax $9,000

    Married making 75K - tax $21,000 Married making 75K - tax $18,750

    Married making 125K - tax $38,750 Married making 125K - tax $31,250

If you want to know just how effective the mainstream media is, it is amazing how many people that fall into the categories above think Bush is screwing them and Bill Clinton was the greatest President ever. If any democrat is elected, ALL of them say they will repeal the Bush tax cuts and a good portion of the people that fall into the categories above can't wait for it to happen. This is like the movie The Sting with Paul Newman; you scam somebody out of some money and they don't even know what happened.

BUT, under Clinton in 1999 where were our deficits headed?

I'm no fan of taxes, but the bill comes sooner or later, and if he can't cut some fat elsewhere the bill is just coming later. I'd rather I have to pay for it than my 2 kids......

Its a double edged sword... yes taxes may be lower (and I'm all for lowers taxes) but there are a lot of variables that are still not figuring into this...

Also... its great that I have extra money, don't get me wrong I am always against paying taxes and would opt out of Medicare and Social Security if I could (and I'm pissed that I can't btw)

but I would rather throw in an extra 30.00 a week to make up the difference as opposed to being 2 Trillion in debt

you mean "pork" like 1/2 of our total budget going to socialist programs like WIC, ACCESS, HUD, Welfare, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, foreign aid... etc

We can't afford to pay the bill for the world anymore. Luckily with Hilary in power we won't pay the whole worlds bill... we'll just increase the amount we pay for our internal people to twice what it currently is :frusty:

The way I see it. Make all those other countrys pay up what they owe us. Do not for give there debts. Stop giving our money away. Welfare is another story. Make them work for it. No free housing or welfare unless you can prove you can not do some thing constructive for it. Heck clean the road sides, work in supervised daycares so others do not have to pay so much.
You ride buy low income housing or as I call it lazy bum housing. See all the nice cars, AC units cracking, cable TV playing. Boy maybe I should live there and get a check for setting around. My eye is screwed up, my wife has med problims, I have 3 kids, 2 living at home. Lets see I think that would be worth free 3 bedroom apartment, 1500 a month check, 1000 food stamps. Boy I could buy a new car and do not a thing.
Back to giving money away to other countrys. I have to say this screw them. If we bomb them, then do not go and rebuild it. We bombed it for a reason, leave it flat. Look at Japan in WW2, we nuked them for what they did to us. Then we went in and rebuilt Japan and now they are buying us up. We made the monster. So stop it in Iraq before we build another monster. Look at gas price. Any way I well step off my soap box now.

QSA, I have thought the same way for many years. It's like putting the boots to someone who deserves it, and then driving him to the hospital and paying his medical bills.

Sounds to me like their some made up numbers populated by someone who had an agenda. and passed on by someone who shared that agenda.

oh yeah say we got tired of the ever increasing loss of our personal freedoms and we wanted to revolt not but in anarchy but in constitutional liberty
we would'nt have tha $$ to wage a war on tyranny in high places
    smart move huh
