what are good coyote broadheads

    i want to kill a few coyotes that are on a killing spree of killing are cats and allot of small game they eat because theres nothing to stop them but me and if u ask me why dont i poision them its because i want to hunt and i dont want to poision any other animals

    any broadhead will do, dont get expandables tho, ur poundage wont open them

    why wouldnt 55 poundage open an expandable

    i think it would or am i going to do this :frusty: lol

    How about any fixed blade that you can shoot well. If you put it through the lungs they won't go far.:D

    I don't know where your located, but come jan.-feb. I will be hanging up my bow and heading out with the .308 to do some coyote control around the places I hunt. I have only shot one with my bow, they are so hard to get drawn back on, little rat bastards!:doh: Good luck taking a few out, I would suggest muzzys because they are cheap, anything that cuts will work, shoot some of your old broadheads if you have any laying around. Coyotes are tougher than most deer hunters realize, the one I shot ran about 50 yards spraying blood until it ran into a tree and broke its neck.

    I've had rocket expandables open on foxes, and squirrels, and chucks. Typically I've used 50-60lb bows.

    Coyotes = bunch of misses and pass-throughs into the ground.
    You'll save a lot of money if you are planning to shoot a bunch of 'Yotes by going with the Montec. G5 Montecs are awesome and are flat stone resharpened.
