I shoot a WB on my hunting bow mainly for the simplicity. I switched to Blazers from a standard 4" vane b/c over a period of time i noticed that the vanes started to look like they had some wear on them for sure. I've never had a fletching stripped off by the WB though. The Blazers are more durable and shoot great to boot.

Has anyone noticed the noise that a carbon arow makes when being pulled through the biscut during drawing?
My son shoots one, I think they might make too much noise for a close up shot at a deer.:noidea:

Is he shooting carbon arrows / camo printing? Thats normally what causes the noise. I think I read somewhere that if he sprays it with some sort of scent free spray it will stop making that noise.

    or just shoot black arrows

Nice answer buddy. I have heard waxing your arrows will take the noise away.

    Rest My .02

I had one until, I came across a video of an arrow going through 1 at 10 degrees. It seemed like the arrow broke through, rather than passed through. In PA you need to think about cold weather when buying. Michigan winters are even colder.

Little more actually in that you can make much finer adjustments for vertical position with the drop tine version. The regular WB you have to loosen the mounting bolt and adjust the angle.

They are both good, the drop tine is just more stable and easier to adjust and settings can be documented if you have to remove the rest from the bow.
