I shot my first shoot of the year with my drenalin and I shot the best I ever have ,man this bow is a shooter.. I had a trykon last year and I shot the same shoot this year , I was way better , my groups are better and everything.. Something really cool ,my girlfriend was shooting a hoyt and the mathews dealer had her try a switchback that was 45 lbs, at her draw, she was able to pull it .She could only pull 35 on the hoyt. so we sold the hoyt and I bought her the sb xt. mathews has me sold .

Congrats and I am glad your happy w/your purchase....

but I gotta tell you bowtech is better.......

but seriously the drawing less w/the same poundage has been a problem w/hoyt for years.....I was the tech at a shop that used to sell PSE, Hoyt, and Fred bear (when fred bear wasnt cool)......we sold 10 PSE to one Hoyt just because of the difference in the amount of force required to draw both brands at the same poundage.....

On a side note I was there for about 3.5 years (I left when the owners decided to retire) and in that time we sold 4 Fred Bear's

you shot better? what is the difference in tempature from last year to this year?

Here last year it was all of 36 degrees last year when I shot the January shoot at one of the local club.....this year was 65 degrees.....that alone helps me shoot better....

I agree Mathews makes a great bow but the better score could have also been that you shot all year last year and all that practice made you a better archer. I am glad you like your new bow and hope you continue to improve your scores. You have a GF that shoots wow. The only problem I see with that is it would cost me double of everything I buy now.

    temp, where I shot

where I shot it is a 40yd indoor . temp is the same . I think that I have something to do with it but I give the bow some of it. It groups alot better then my trykon did. anyway I love it.

interesting info...... why did your trykon not group??? Mine shoots sweet, all the way out to 70 yards with broadheads....... Ill bet it was the bow though, couldnt have had anything to do with the arrows, adjustments, tuning or the shooter, remember folks, it all about the name on the bow and thats all!!!

well my its because the trykon was junk...

my trykon was in the shop more then I shot it. my be it was the tuning but the guy that set it up shoots for hoyt. maybe I wasn't using big enough arrows????? Or maybe just maybe the drenalin shoots better then that junk, log heavy mass of metal trykon. That maybe it.

    problems.

the serving on my cables got ate up , had to be changed. It was making a twang after each shot that was the string shox. the tuning on it with cx250 was a mess. after about 2 months of in and out I got it to shoot right. my camo was flawed also. hoyt had a problem with there serving on the cable they knew that and were cool about fixing it.there was something with the cam pin wouldn't stay tight had to lock tight it in.
