    Greetings to everyone here,

the limb seperated on my 10 year old 3-d & deer hunting bow last fall. I'm not up on the latest and greatest gear. I'm looking for a moderatly priced new bow. My priorities are 1. Must be left-handed. 2. must be a "forgiving" bow since it will be used for hunting 3. fast!

I can spend up to, but no more than $400 on the bow itself. Your suggestion and advice will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!
    Tres

Tresmon, Welcome to the pack. I would suggest trying to find a archery shop near you and go check out what they have. Most will have a small indoor range to let you shoot their stock. Your right bows have changed so much that they aren't always comfortable to shoot. To me the more advanced for speed the harder they are to shoot because they are less forgiving. Good Luck!!!!

    Welcome Tresmon.
There are quite a few bows, brand new, in the $400 price range. The thing is that you want it to fit and be comfortable. Based on personal experience I would seek the advice of a shop that sells a few lines of bows and has people working there that are intimately involved in the sport of archery. You will be amazed at the difference you feel between different bows, even from the same company.

Good luck and post how things are going. We'll learn from your experiences.

Oh, and it would help if you shot with the correct hand...
I just had to toss that one in there...

Good luck and post your experiences.

Take a look at the Mission line of bows. They are supposed to be a great bow at an affordable price plus you get a full warranty.

PSE has some good bows as well in your price range.

You don't have to spend alot of money to shoot well.

    BTW :welcome:

100% agree.....the Mission line is AWSOME.....I shot the X3 twice and said, why would someone buy another (hunting) bow over this one at that price????
