so far Carbon risers have been great for HC and with Mathews going "light weight" (thinner limbs) it may be a great win for the Mathews shooters...

Mathews has been out of the "speed" game for a while... its about time for another speed attempt from them :frusty:

Seems there would have to be a limit on how light you could make a bow and still keep it quite and vibration free.

 Back in the spring when i bought my Truth i was only looking for a good treestand bow and i shot the brands that the shop carries which is Mathews,BT,Hoyt and the Fred Bear line...and one reason i chose the truth is i didn't want to mess with timming issues of a dual cam and this is omo but i really didn't see that much difference in the mathew's draw cycle and shootability vs the truth. All the Bows i mentioned are great bows but i chose the one that felt best in my hand. But i will admit that if i had of been a member of this site wnen i was looking for a new bow...i could have swung either way...i read so much bashing on the other site that their was no way reguardless that i wanted to be in one of those clubs.I love to talk about bows but i don't like to fight over them and no matter what brand we all decide to own....were All fanboys.:peace:

A carbon riser wouldn't be so off the wall, my recurve riser (Win & Win Inno) is carbon but not sure how that would do with high speed. For recurve it's fantastic though.

  12. High Country had a carbon riser out a few years ago.....

I thought the carbon risors made them louder ? I have a friend with a HC with carbon and it was louder than his old oneida. With light weight you sacrifice on some things.
