    What kind of bow?

Almost every bow I know of can have the draw length adjusted, the pro shop should be able to do it for you.

Where did you buy it? Any shop that sells Bear bows should have modules to change the draw length. I can't quite remember, but there should be about 5" of adjustment with just a module change. The modules also have threaded hole for an allen head cap-screw which is used as a draw stop.

Then there is a peg in a slot on the cam that can be loosened and moved to get another inch up or down (this is for fine adjusting) from the module setting. Don't do this one yourself. The bow needs to be pressed to do this one.

Well, I responded to the first post...

The Bear bow should have some adjustability. I'm not sure though if you need to change the cam or not. The last Fred Bear bow I owned was from about 1988 or so ??? It looked like a recurve but with 4 wheels. :bowl:

Good luck with that. You should be able to get some good advice out here on your issue.

    Aww the TRX..
I had one of these at one time. The draw was 31 inches, and only went down to 29. I think it will only go down to this (29). :sorry:

There is a review on the TRX here and the reviewer said he had it set at 27", so it's likely possible, if you can get the right module.

    The review said it's modular.
Without the manual I'm not sure how much adjustment you'd get out of the draw length module you have, but you might be able to find out from Bear. You can also try get modules used (where others have changed their dl and gotten new modules).

look at the module on the cam. I'm guessing it says W3, maybe? if it does you would need a W5 to shorten it by 2 inches. any Bear dealer like Bass Pro or Gander Mountain should have the modules.

bass pro sucks because when I went there and I ask them to adjust the bow. They just say I can only adjust as the number of draw weight and draw length.
plus over here in texas doesn't have Gander Mt

This would be a good place to start. Give them a call. You might be surprised.

Referenced as you hold the bow to shoot. It would be part of the lower cam. (where the string goes around and the cable attaches) There should be some kind of identification marks on it, letters/numbers, etc.
