I have been thinking about have the trigger done on my CVA Optima. I found a guy on gunbroker who will do it for $40, doesn't sound like to bad of a deal..? Anyone have any experience with the CVA trigger setups?
Wouldn't know what to do once I took it apart, the pull itself isn't bad but there is a little bit of initial creep I would like to see eliminated.
A friend of mine had the same problem....he fix it the way he wanted...he likes for all his guns to have what i call....a hair trigger.I can try and reach him to find out how he done it.
take it apart and put some valve grinding compound in it and work it. clean with brake cleaner carefully, oil and see how it feels. I've done this on pistols and it smoothes them up.
