with reasonable prices over here? :noidea:
That really is a stumbing block for them isn't it. I'm fortunate I can get in the car and in a little over an hour be at Justin's.
I kid, because I love........:noidea:
Firecat for $425
I am, the Firecat would be for my step dad.
You realize it is a pro series bow and must be purchased in the shop right? :noidea:
What if there's no local dealer?........:noidea:
I realize that is what you think, yes.
Then you're S.O.L...... :noidea:
A guy got a hold of me from Scottland wanting to buy a Slayer. I contacted Martin and they told me the guy would have to go to England to his nearest dealer. It is a terrible policy, but it is their policy.
If a dealer is selling pro series bows over the phone or the net, then they are violating a contract that they wrote their name on. I wonder where else their integrity might be lacking.....
It isn't what I think Skippy, it is the policy. I know there are dealers out there with no integrity. I'm sure they wouldn't pass up the opportunity to sell you a dry fired bow as new either. Good luck with that...
cant we all just get along and help each other out?:noidea:
Don't play integrity police with me. There are some dealers out there that want to make a sale. You have to bend the rules a little bit, so be it. Its kinda like bump draft'n.
Yes. How can I help you out today my friend????
Thats what I was hoping but he got all mad on me when I told him I wanted a better price on something and he wouldn't let me low ball him. :bowl:
I didn't realize drivers signed a contract saying they would not bump draft?
Sorry if integrity isn't on your list of important traits. It tops mine. I can't stand liars and cheats or those whose word means nothing. Good luck with your search.... :thumb:
I'm not mad at you at all slipster. People try to low ball me several times every day. I'm used to your kind.....:biggrin1:
I aint S.O.L., Martin is, they're losing the sale...... :biggrin1:
I'm sure they have lost a lot of sales....
I know I've probably lost a dozen.....
I understand and appreciate that they want to protect their dealers, but if I can give them my zip code and they dont have a dealer within 100-150 miles, I think they're hurting themselves by not letting the sale go through. maybe they could forward the customer request to the closest dealer and let them do the shipping and have the sale. Just saying, nope, you cant have it doesnt make much sense to me.
I know of one in perticular.......:tape:
