I have had an HHA 5500 on my Switchback for about a year now, well a couple weeks ago I was still in the process of setting up my target bow (The black cherry Icon). And did not have a scope for my sure loc yet, so what is a guy to do, I was switching the HHA from one bow to the other. Well low and behold one night I go to shoot my league score, and on the third shot of practice my level falls out and hits the floor, well actually it kinda shot out. So anyway I attempted to glue it back in place, but it will not stay.

So now for the really weird part. Three weeks ago I puchased an Extreme scope and 4 power lense. I get the bow all set up the way I want it. I take the thing to go shoot another league round same place same bow. Shoots perfect for 2 weeks, this past week however it was the same thing all over again, 2 shots the level falls out and hits the floor??????????????? What in the world is the problem, I mean I did not even have the scope a month, this is bologna. I know what some of you are thinking it must be the bow, let me tell you the thing has NO vibration, I am only shooting it at around 53 lbs. So tell me whats up w/this???

2 different sights both have the levels fall out, less than a month from one another, and one of them I have had less than a month.:noidea:

J/K Sounds very strange to me I have no idea what it could be other than bad sights.

Man that just plain stinks. Get some good 24hour epoxy and put the level back in.

Thank you very much.:biggrin1: And yes I know I will be waiting for some retaliation in the future but this would not be nearly as much fun if I did'nt get thrashed once in a while by you buddy. :peace: I hope you get that level put back on real good though there is nothing worse than faulty equipment.  With my shooting ability I need the best equipment I can get to try to compensate. But I still love this addiction.

Man I have never even heard of that happening. I always thought that extreme sight were very good durable sights. And with the level not being level after you glue it back in have you ever used a 3rd axis leveling jig. The owner of the shop that is in our club has one and I use it to check my scope periodically. Your scope mounts into it you get it level and then loosen the screw and rotate the scope up and down and make you adjustments until it stays level through the whole range of motion. works pretty well. and if you have used one before I apologize for rambling on

The Sure-loc I have has the 3rd axis block on it and I will be leveling it when I get the new one in as well as the one I am repairing. Got another 4x Extreme comming next week. This one has a red body, it should look good once the color kit from Sure loc gets here. (thats red also) This one is center drilled .019. Got the light kit comming too. I cant stop buying red for this bow. Is too much red a bad thing? :noidea:

Well, if you level the level and it ain't level then you need to level it till it's level.

Maybe you just weren't supposed to be shooting a sight with a level on it. Fate takes over and is trying to tell you something.
