Well fellas my Archery league started two weeks ago and its been alot of fun but I have been seeing a little pattern in my shot that I need to figure out? This is my first venture into shooting these types of things and this is basically just practice so I can start shooting 3D.

The first week I shot a 309 out of 360.

The second week I shot a 322 out of 360.

Now the weird thing and one of my questions is that if you look at my targets above you will notice 90% of the shots that dont hit the yellow hit low and right... I am trying to figure this out. Am I maybe dropping my arm or torquing the bow? Or does it just happen to be that way?

Also what do you call this style of shooting? Is it called Vegas style or something like that?

Just an FYI my bow setup is the following.

    2005 Hoyt UltraSport
    Trophy Taker dropaway rest
    Copper John sites

Not real sure what it is but, sometimes I anchor real tight to my cheek and that causes me to pull the string slightly to the left which causes some misses to the right. The low shots I would say a probably dropping bow arm.

Something to check. Make sure your not pushing with the bow hand. The bow hand should be steady and the shot should happen on the back half or release side.

How do you score them? How many rounds of 3 arrows?

It is 3 games, four rounds each game. One round is 3 shots. Does that make sense?

A good start would be to move your sight to the right and a little bit down.
Maybe put a pic up with your form....by the grouping it looks like you might have a to long of a draw length.
    or
And skip the energy drink next week.:tape:

Something little you may want to try is to open up your stance a little bit. Looks like your body may want to aim a little right, so an open stance will help with this a bit. It helped me
