im building a set of arrows right now and i want them to be perfect, im going to use them for hunting with thunderhead 100grain broadheads. Should i do helical or straight? Im using easton xx75 camo hunter shafts and bohning classic 4" vanes. also i need some tips on keeping my vanes on, i had them breaking off alot on my old arrows. I have a quiktune 1000 rest and use a realese if that would change anything.
You want to do helical. Do not do straight vanes with broadheads. This is a big no-no. What type of glue do you use and how are you cleaning the shaft before putting the vanes on?
