Is there now a arrow of choice and mfg ??? I continue to use bemen arrows in carbon and have had good luck with them. I did in the past use gold tip, but when they went south to Mexico and for several months I could not get a supply I changed over to several other brands to have in the shop.

GT, Easton, Beman, Carbon Express are by far the most popular around here although some people have soured on the GT's since they went through their production issues last year. A year ago you couldn't find a GT arrow to save your life. I believe that's fixed now and they are back in 'business'... Chris may be able to shed some light on that.

The most popular shaft in our shop is Easton Axis. However, we do sell quite a few gold tips as well now that the supply is back.

I've been using Axis for hunting and Fatboys for target and I have not had issues with either one. All the guys I hunt with use Either GT or Beman ICS. I'm the only one in my group that use Axis. None of us seems to have problems, aside from the GT availability issues last year.
In fact we seem to have more equipment issues stemming from things like treestands and such, nothing really with actual archery equipment. Amazing actually because we all shoot quite a bit all year round...

My hubby really does well with his Beeman ICS but he's been shooting more lately with his A/C/C. I really like my Carbon Express arrows...I have the CXL2 for indoor but just got some of those overpriced Nano's which I've been using for both indoor and out...I have to say I havn't shot better, but I say a BIG HUGE NOOOoooo to Meta Nocks. Just ordered pin nock adapters and pin nocks. You have to drill out the dang nock if you break off an ear from the things.

I love my X-Weaves, tight tolerances in both weight and straightness. And they are very strong and durable. All of this at a great price.
