Axis was our #1 selling arrow last and we sell a lot of whisker biscuits. Well, I had a customer complain today that the new Nano Axis is louder than the old Axis when drawing through a whisker biscuit.

Any thoughts or ideas on how to improve this?
I have a call into the engineers at Easton to see what they say.

Ask him if he installed new whiskers or if he applied the weather proofing or water repellent. Seems to me that if the bristles are stiffened then it may be louder. Just a place to start at least.

Well nothing against Armor-All I use the stuff on my cars. But not my hunting equipment. Just take some fine steel wool and gently run it up and down the arrow shaft. It will quiet down the arrow as it goes through a WB..

Dump the WB and go with a decent full capture drop away...
Especially when used for hunting in the Midwest where you could get rained on, hailed on, snowed on and hit by lightening on the same hunting day...

Thats great because the rain and snow wont affect a drop away at all.:noidea:
