Do you guys have back-up bows??? I think I'm experienced enough to be able to buy a bow from a shop, spend a few hours setting it up, and sighting in, and go hunt with it. I do have a back up bow, but I'm thinking of reducing my inventory.

    Back-up bow!

For hunting, My back up bow is a take-down recurve, Just in case i blow my cables or string in the field im not gonna quit hunting!
For 3-d my back-up bow is my compound, hunting rig!:biggrin1:

I do for sure, my vectrix xl is my back up for my trykon. Its not a real big deal for deer hunting, but when im 5 hours away from home for 10+ days i always take the backup. Seen guys break stuff a few times and have to pack up.

when you figure out how to shoot arrows out of that 3006 let me know how, i have spent the last few weeks trying to shoot them out of my 300 ultra, and really havent got much but 14 destryed arrows, lots of melted fletchings, and a few powder burns on my face...... i did get some good distance on a few of them though.... i just cant figure it out....:frusty:

I've never needed a back up bow but if I do need one I can use my 3D bow, Trykon XL, its Safari color so the deer wont care :D
