I need a new bow. Mine died at the last minute Any ideas for a good bow in the $500 and under price range? I have all the accessories, but need something before the season starts! Ugh! Thanks for any ideas in advance! I'd PREFER it be a parallel limb bow if at all possible! Thanks! PS - So far, I'm looking at a $400 PSE Brute. http://www.pse-archery.com/prod.php?k=55445&u=0707NP Also, a Bowtech Tomkat was suggested to me as an option, though I haven't looked into it yet. Thanks for any ideas in advance!
Died at the last minute ? Must have been an aortic/cardiac explosion, or limb explosion...:bowl: Post the problem you had, inquiring minds want to know... Ron
Check out the Fred Bears. The Instinct is nice for $399. I think the Code and Truth go for around $500.eace:
take a look at the Browning Myst very nice shooter for the price, the pse rogue w/ nrg hybrid cams, catalyst nrg single cam. all with in your range. I bought my son last year the Myst for his birthday. Its a sweet bow. I wasnt sure how I'd like the grip but that Navcom is really comfortable.
I hate to answer these type of ?'s but i will....Take a look at the FB line of Bows.If something happened to my Truth bow...i would get another in a heart beat. There that good.eace:
Martin Pantera......$430 Martin Bengal........$399 The Bengal was voted the most bang for the buck this year. Both are great bows from a company with great customer service. Definitely worth looking at.
you can get a Tomkat, or just a gently used Tribute or Allegiance for 500 bucks! If you let someone else take the depreciation hit, you can pretty much get any good hunting bow from 06 or early 07 for 500. Good luck!
Bowtech TomKat. Around $550 as a package with whisker biscuit or Hostage rest, sight, quiver, wrist sling and peep. Tough to beat that price in a bow that nice.
Other bows to check out is the PSE Catalyst NRG Plus, Browning Myst HC Hybrid Cam, or the AR-32. All nice bows and well worth the money.
I Agree 200% The Tomkat is one of the best values in a Top performing Bow currently on the market Dan
