    Got a Question
with the speed of the bow's of today
What minimum poundage do you shoot for 3D?
Or do you max. it out ?
And what poundage do you shoot at?

I started shooting 3d's with a 55# , and went to 70# it was too much so now I'm back at 60-62#

I'd stay where you're at maybe go 62#...:noidea:

I was shooting 90lbs back in the late 80's when I was a lot younger but we had to shoot that kind of poundage to break the 300 fps mark. Now days I am happy with 60 to 62lbs for hunting and 3D...:noidea:

My norm is about 53# and nearly maxed out as I order my bows with 55# limbs, That being said, even at that low weight, with the cam options and super tuning, shooting a 267gr arrow I still can achieve speeds between 280 fps and 300 fps depending on which bow I shoot.
