has anyone ever seen a bow prettier than this? Other than Elites.
sorry slip, they oficially became the ugliest bow, in a class of uglies, when i saw the new ones this year........
I found a new bow for you Slip, it will match your eyes.....
they do have NICE.........HATS AND TANK TOPS:eyebrows: :eyebrows:
I dont know Lamont could be the top runner for things of beauty
Lamont aint got nothing on these UGLY's:lol:
You got that right, Lamont is the bow of the year!!
Well maybe in 1990!
i like the paint job on it.
I've got a local Alpine dealer now. I may go check them out this afternoon....
I saw them at the ATA show and some of them look absolutely awesome....:thumb:
I want to look at the one piece riser bow. I thinks it's called the Ventura. I don't think it's offered in Predator though....
You could get it in the Predator. The Ventura also has the rear tap for an STS.
They do look nice...I would really like to shoot one. Never shot an Alpine before :noidea: The specs look pretty good and I think they are sweet looking!
Hey Hookster, where you been hiding bud?
Yeah, Alpine is the best kept secret in the archery industry in my opinion. They may not be as good as Elite, but these things are hunting machines.
AFTER you guys shoot them, SEE HOW UNCOMFORTABLE the grip is, how loud they are and how much vibration they have, let me know what you think of them.....
I shot one that was 2 or three years old. The recoil actually took the target out of my sight picture like I'd just shot a shot gun with a scope.
The cams are different now and I've not messed with the newer ones but they look much better now then they did then.
I've shot them dopey. These new ones aren't like the ones 5 years back, Alpine is ready to play with the big boys.
I have seen them SPANKY.........and after holding one for about 30 seconds I relized I want nothing to do with them.........
they are heavy, even heavier than a HOYT, and there grip area is for crap.....
ALPINE NEVER WAS and never will be ready for "the big boys".....
kinda like saying Darton or Evotec is ready for the big boys.....:bored: :bored:
Look here Uncle Rico, maybe they ain't as nice as your Mathews, but doesn't mean you have to resort to bashing.
The grip does take a little getting used to, I agree. The weight thing, holding 4 pounds a little tough for ya?
One of your chins probably weighs that? :noidea:
