Im still confused about broadhead tuning. I am dead on at 10, 20, and 30 yards and my broadheads are shooting roughly 6 inches lower then my field points. (both 100 gr.) I shoot muzzy 4 blades and my rest is a whisker bisquit. I have no clue what to do.:censored: :censored:
Are you shooting a hoyt? This is not a slam or a bash, please don't take it that way. I had an issue recently with a Hoyt and muzzys shooting low.
Give us some details about the bow brand and model, the draw length, the draw weight, the arrow spine and length etc.
im shooting a kind of older bow Clearwater Archery bow 50# dw Not quite sure of the draw length but im shooting 27.5" Terminator Lites 45/60 This is the first year im bowhunting so this is kind of new
ok dude. i got a perfect result for you. i had this same problem. you know what i did to fix it.... i got an allen key and moved my pin lower:laugh:
One thing you can try. Move your whisker biscuit up just a touch or bring your nocking point down just a hair. Then retest. Note, your impact point will be different but what we are trying to find out is if your arrows get closer together.
this is hard to explain but ill try my best: When you move the whisker biscuit up do you move the accutuly circle back so that it is straight up and down, if you know what im talking about?
OK Chris, Spill the Beans! This is the first year I am shooting Muzzys and I'm shooting low with my Broadheads. And Yes, I have a Hoyt! I have MX4 and they are shooting about 4 inches low... Left and Right is perfect.
