anybody have a Hyandai Tuscon?? we are looking to buy a nice pre-owned and I was wondering if anybody has any BAD experiances?? what about a Sante Fe...... the wife likes them:noidea: oh hey Wheely, you can move this if you like.....
My grocery getter is a Hyundai Elantra Wagon and I have had nothing but great luck with it. The warranty is excellent. Not that I have used it for much. My aunt bought a Santa Fe last fall and seems to like it alot also. My brother has an Entourage and likes it too. I'm waiting on a Hyundai truck.
I don't have the tucson, but I have the Kia Sportage (which is the same car over here...just slightly different body shape and interior fitout). The kia looks a bit better imho. Pros Looks decent Fair amount of power Cheap 4X4 (stop laughing) Long service intervals Cons Thin panels and micro thin delicate paint Sucks more gas than comparably powered Nissan X-Trail Interior wears fast 4X4 more for show than anything Questionable longevity (had this one 2 years and seems more little stuff goes wrong the older it gets...and we're EASY on cars) If you can find a Mazda, Nissan or Toyota ...even if it costs a bit more...I'd seriously consider it first. We had a Nissan X-Trail and loved it. Build quality was second to none...and it felt like it the whole time we had it. We just wouldn't buy what we've got now, again.
For once, we agree. I wouldn't be caught dead in one of them things. Suzukis ain't nearly as bad as a Hyunday :noidea:
Oh yeah thats right, you like Stihl dont ya Bunny buns? Well Stihls suck too. I had one at one time, someone did me a favor and stole it out of the back of my truck for me. If I ever found out who it was I would thank them and probably become good friends with them. :bowl:
Dont get me wrong, some of there saws are great...... thier other products and thier company policy's really SUCK...... that company can go to :censored: ........ have you ever had to call them for anything?? Try getting a human on the phone......
The wife wanted a Santa Fe so we test drove one two years ago. Watch out for the 2.7L V6. It'll get worked to death pulling this SUV around. Has to do too much down shifting. Then we tried the 3.5L V6. It could smoke the tires almost anytime. Almost scary. I believe the newer versions have a 3.3L which might be a nice touch. All in all they are a nice vehicle, but I just can't see giving the dealer my 2000 Silverado and $15,000 for something that only gets less than 2 mpg more. Besides, my truck only has 107,000 miles, is paid for, and I only put about 7000 miles a years on it anymore. Staring 2004 Hyundai really stepped up the quality. The wife and I own a Sonata and it's been a darned decent car. Rides a lot bigger than it is. The warranty is great, if you ever have need of it. We haven't.
No I have never tried to call them. Why would I need to do that? :noidea: I dont give 2 :censored: about their policy. They make the best :censored: :censored: :censored: chainsaws around Bud. :amen:
You guys sure like to use the :censored: smiley! I would like to start a petition to replace the :censored: smiley with  smiley! Who's with me? (Insert "noidea" smiley here - Since I exceeded the 10 smiley per post)
