Is there such a thing, and if so are these state certified, NFAA, or ?????? Now, I am getting my State Bowhunter Education Instructor's, but I'am looking for an actual Archery Instructors. I'am looking at setting up a Youth Archery Program, and this type of experience or certification would lend more credibility to the program. Any info would be appreiciated :biggrin1:
I know just a little about that. I think its like a drivers license. It means you passed the coarse but it doesn't mean your going to be good at it. Finding a good teacher is not as easy as it may look like. Ask for references and check them. I know the 4 -H club as some programs that have archery instructors.
NFAA has a certified instructors course. In fact I am one. It is put on by Bernie Pellerite (sp?). He also has a video series that covers some of the same stuff. Good information but don't take everything he says as gospel.
The NASP courses are good and you can get you level 1 which is recognized by NFAA @ most of the ASA Pro/Am's Check out the web site.
