What are some "home remidies" towards cleaning your bowstring! I know WC string cleaner is good; however, i am curious if there are any other ways to do this operation???

:noidea: I just use a soft white terry cloth rag and run it up and down the string/cables briskley and keep moving to a clean part of the rag untll there's no more black on it...than rewax lightly.

Dental floss works good for removing old wax and grit

You can use a piece of serving thread to remove extra or old wax. I do this when making a string before I do any serving....

However if you want to CLEAN the string pick up some Scorpion Venom string cleaner.:thumb:
