Today, Scott, Jen, and I shot Harwington. Definitely one of our better local courses. We got to the club at 8am, and it was already sweltering. It was a lot more humid then I expected. 3/4 of the way through the course, I was wishing I had 2 water bottle holders. They had a good turnout. At 8 am they already had 60 shooters, and there were a lot of guys behind us. Scott shot the pro stake today, and though he wasn't super happy with it, turned in a respectable 270. Jen was on fire again today, shooting a 260 from the hunter stake. She just keeps getting better and better!!! Great shooting once again babe! :-*. I shot my second full course with the back tension, and though I had a half a dozen bad targets, I still was pretty happy to end the day with a 256. 6 nickels killed me. 5 of those nickels were just me fighting the back tension. 17 10's really helped my score. All in all, despite the heat, It was a fun, relaxing day shooting! Here are some pics from today... Scotty, shooting the black buck in the shadows... Me about to lauch one on the 'gator... Jen taking a pop at the 'gator... Jen, taking a downhill shot at a buck...
Jen at full draw.... Me at full draw... Scott, taking a pretty long poke at a fallow deer, form the pro stake...
Jen shooting the fallow from the hunter stake. This course has 6 shots like this, set in the open field. They are brutal to judge distance on. Scotty taking a realistic downhill shot at a deer... Jen shooting the Leopard...
