I thought this was kind of neat. Anyone else try this kind of stuff?
here is another
nope.........that is cool with the bowtech in there, and that is a MONSTER doe
Thats pretty cool, it would be even better if it said Hoyt at the bottom:biggrin1: I was thinking at first before I opened the thread that you meant doctoring up the dear or something. Glad to see it wasnt thateace:
BTW congrats those are some nice deer!!!
:frusty: (just kidding!) Hoyts are nice too but I am a bowtech fan.
That was a big doe. I had hoped to get her boyfriend too but it didnt work out. I wont be able to get out again and rifle season opens in a couple days. I had a great time this year.
Well it looks like you had yourself a successful season, good job
Very true. My success isnt always measured by a kill. I judge it more by how much fun I had and memories of my hunts.
The buck was from last year and the doe from earlier in the season. I had a great time. Hunted very hard and learned alot. The bucks better watch out next year.
Yeah, if you would of put Hoyt in there it might have made the deer even bigger. Just kidding. Good deer.
Here is something I was fooling around with
here is another one
Hey Rick, who makes the bow stand/holder you have mounted to the stabilizer hole?
What do you think of it?
I have one of those and it's great. The bushing behind the stab has 2 threaded holes where 2 carbon (carbon arrow shafts ?) rods screw in. I plant the bow under my stand on the two legs/bottom cam and hoist it up and then take the 2 rods off and put them in my quiver. Reverse when leaving the stand. Keeps the bow/arrows/sight off the ground.
I got mine at Keystone Contry Store. I think the manufacturer name is actually Quick Stand but I could be mistaken.
I think it's a great product, especially if you hunt from a treestand or ground blind. It's very light and you can shoot with it on the bow, as if you're in a ground blind.
i have no idea who makes it but I love that thing. I dont use it when deer hunting much so I take the legs off and store them but in the spring when I am in my blind I use it all the time.
I use it alot when I go to a tournament too. I never have to look for a place to set my bow.
Sounds like I have the same one as ronhop
Its a Vibra-check quick stand sold at Bass-pro.
nope thats not it, sorry buddy, take a closer look.........kinda but not really....
I dont know!
Looks about the same to me.:noidea:
If not 1 copyed the other.
Bunny's right... Mine has a round bushing behind the stab and that one looks like it's a small v-bar turned 90 degrees to the ground... Same kind of thing though and it's still a pretty good idea.
Its the same concept.
Theres about 5 out the same way.
From different manufactures i was thinking about building 1 myself but.
To much competition in stands kinda like STS:noidea:
