Easton 2712 shaft - ok maybe you saw it here first!

    I just got word that is a couple 27xx aluminum shafts coming out from easton. Can you imagine. Talk about line cutters.

    Look at it this way if ya loose the rebar to hold your target up with you can pull one of them baby's outta your quiver and your set..........

    Depends on the venue. ASA, IBO, and NFAA all have no size restrictions. The largest shaft allowed at NAA and FITA events is 2315.

    I saw some of these 2712 prototypes earlier this year, but no word on production. Chris, it looks like ya got the scoop on this one for sure!:rockon:

    There is no arrow size restriction for the World Archery Festival tournament in Las Vegas. If you can get the 2712's to fly properly and group well...it would be to your advantage there.

    Now this wouldn't necessarily hold true for Louisville, since if you make the shootoff and then make it through the first two ends of the shootoff, the shootdown then converts to "inside out" scoring...so if any part of your arrow is touching the X ring, it is not considered to be an X.
