What's your height and how much draw weight do you think you could handle?

Well, at your height you'll probably have a 28 or 29 in draw length. Most bows range from about 25 to 30 inches of draw. To go over that you'd probably have to be 6'3" or 6'4". Any chance you'll grow that much in the next few years?

Just about every bow is adjustable up to a certain point. I would look at bows by Diamond and Martin. The Diamond Rapture and the Martin Jaguar both come in packages that would fit your budget. PSE has also come out with a bow called the Stinger that would be in your budget, but I don't know if it comes in a package.

I think the Brute is the better bow, but I wasn't sure it was in the budget. If you've been looking at it and think you can afford it, I think you would be happy with it.
