    In a spot game.

You ever get a hole in the target outside of the X-ring and just can not hit anywhere but in that black hole? It's like the arrows are drawn to the spot.

I ve tried changing the arrow I shoot at that target, change the order I shoot that target, and still that arrow is drawn to that blackhole outside of the X-ring.

Anybody have any tricks to combat a blackhole outside of the X-ring?

Bowman once told me that his secret to a good indoor score is to go ahead and punch holes in the middle of the X before he starts....

Seems a little shady to me, but his scores are pretty nice.....:noidea:

When you walk up to pull the arrows, pull the tab on one side of the target and use your finger to push the paper hole closed.

    This will help.

I find that if I'm shooting consistantly in the same hole that if I move my sight then the hole moves as well... have you tried that? :biggrin1:

sure it is...in open class you can move it as much as you want. right...???

oops...thought you were asking about moving the sight, but I don't know why you can't fix holes in the paper.

messing with the target in any way is a no no. fixing is a no no.
If it is on the left, then aiming at the center. Then aim in the same spot on the right side as the hole is at on the left and you should hit center.

well lets just say we have some guys that just flip out if you do any thing that is not by the books. I hange my 3 spot upside down just to bother them. lol Like you said it is a local level shoot, the winning team at the end gets a 15 dollar gift card. Mine are pilling up, need to buy some thing. But I like using cash. Most people do not spend money there. I make it a point to. I have bought 2 bows and order some parts from them, 5 guns.
