My wife finally tried the archery thing a few weeks back with the help of a few shooting wives. She expressed an interest, so I bought her this...

Nice looking bow Cam. Is she coming up to shoot on Tuesday Nights?

No, we have a long way to go before that happens. I am going to take her up Wednesday night and ask Laura to work with her. I will be out of the picture for the initial teaching part.

    Smart man.

I took my wife up there the last 2 weeks for her first 2 rounds and she did fairly well for not shooting before. She got a 261 and a 269, I was happy that she did well, she beat Laura both times :tape: (Jay had been messing with her bow). It made her feel good.

wow....just showing a little interest and you hooked her up with that??? Hope she doesn't start showing an interest in gemology or nascar!

What is the deal with having the front stab so offset?? Never seen one like that before :noidea:

Only the finest for the wife!

As for the offset, true, it eliminates the need for a v-bar, and I can use less weight to get the left/right balance by putting the bar a little further away from the bow.

Need a quiet, people free range so she feels comfortable. I only have one shot at making this fun for her without pressure, that is how she is. But thanks anyway! Maybe after a few lessons her confidence will be up enough for a "wife" shooting session.:biggrin1:

She is a bit self concious(sp) about the whole thing. Hopefully she like it enough to stick with it.:noidea:

No lens yet. Thought I would keep it simple for a while. 10 yards and just go through the motions.
