It's like a mini-Cabelas. They have a lot of big name brands. Hunting, fishing and camping. If you go to their website you can look at a sales ad.

I was ask to contact them in Nov. about carrying Quick Stands. Back in june I was contacted and we emailed back and forth. They said they bring on new product lines in Nov.

they have alot of bows. but most arent top of the line bows. And yes they are expensive. Our pro-shop is cheaper on about every thing from bows, releases, sights, arrows, targets and broadheads. I dont shop there at all. I like Dunhams and Mc sports for the odd stuff like clothing and scents.

Gander by me has some decent stuff.
Prices are good, especially since they will price match anyone, including internet stores.

You'll like the Cabelas. They are very impressive stores. The sales staff are fools when it comes to archery, but their fishing experts are great. They carry PSE, Diamond, Reflex, Bear, Browning. They are decent. Good prices on the broadheads, but that is about it. Everything else is spendy. You are more paying for the experience when you go there. If you can find one, I prefer Scheels. The sales staff are extremely knowledgeable, their prices are competitive, and you know you are walking out with the right stuff. Cabelas just tries to sell stuff, Scheels will actually have opinions and sell you what works. My .02:biggrin1:

Gander Mountain is pricey. And, yes, their archry staff(s) are not good.

Having said that when they put seasonal stuff on sale (stands, blinds, camo, etc...) they blow the stuff out at very good prices. You defnitely need to have the archery knowledge when you walk in because nobody has worked in ANY GM I have been in that knew anything.

But my Favorite small sporting goods stores like Greentop and Dicks will probably go under being there only 5 miles down the road!
I buy Golf clubs from Dicks and they have a great indoor 3D:Cry:

They are both to expensive for me. If I cant find it at WalMart or e-bay I usually do without it. Bows and Guns excluded.
